“Widnes Remembers”

Yesterday morning (Sunday the 9th November 2014) I attended the Service of Remembrance at Victoria Park Cenotaph in Widnes. This event also was the first photographic opportunity for my 12 month project on the Town of Widnes.

I was so nice to see so many old and young people of Widnes turn out to pay respect for the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in order that we live free today.

I hope that at least one of the images I took yesterday will form part of my project.

Here are a few images I took yesterday and some with a lens I have on loan for a few weeks a Sigma 35mm f1.4 art. Big thanks to Cambrian Photography and Sigma U.K

Also thanks to Derek Twigg M.P.  Rob Polhill leader of Halton Council and Councillor Shaun Osborne and his wife Della, The Mayor and Mayoress of Halton for their words of support for my project.

Happy Snapping
